Girls Track

 Carly Veach finished 4th in the 60 meter Hurdles with a time of 9.72 seconds, which is a new school record; she also lowered her school record time in the 60 meters to 8.21 seconds.  Emily Parrett finished 4th in the Shot Put with a throw of 34 feet 1.25 inches, and Ella Smith finished 7th in the Shot Put with a throw of 31 feet 8 inches.  There were several Lady Wildcats who also improved their indoor marks and/or times from the previous meet in Marion!  

Finishing in first place for the Lady Wildcats were Sophomore Carly Veach in the 100 Hurdles, 300 Hurdles, and Varsity 200 Meters, Senior Finley Puricelli in the 400 Meters, Sophomore Blaike Jourdan in the Pole Vault, and Freshman Eniya Jones in the Fresh/Soph 100 Meters.

Second place finishers for the Lady Wildcats included the 4X100 Relay team of Kinsey Jarrett, Eniya Jones, Carly Veach, and Finley Puricelli, Senior Hannah Smith in the Discus, Senior Finley Puricelli in the High Jump, Senior Kinsey Jarrett in the Long Jump and Triple Jump, and Freshman Emily Parrett in the Shot Put.

Third place finishers for the Lady Wildcats were Junior Brylee Pennypacker in the Discus and Emily Runyon in the Pole Vault.

In addition, the Lady Wildcats had 12 girls who finished in the Top 12 of their events.

It was a great first outdoor meet for our Lady Wildcats, and the team would like to thank all of the students and teachers who came out to support them!
