Grading Rule: 32 Leaves required, each worth 3 points = 96 pts

All extra leaves are worth 2 points

For the "A", must have 20 extra leaves other than the 32 required leaves.

Total = 186 pts

Rules: Required leaves identified incorrectly = -3 pts

Extra leaves identified incorrectly = -2 pts

Any leaves over 52-82 is 1 additional bonus point if identified correctly

Limited to using only 5 domestic fruit tree leaves

All leaves should be as close to perfection as possible

Leaves should be placed in a three-ring binder

Each individual leaf should be placed on plain white 8.5 x 11 inch paper

Required leaves should be first in book appearing in the order they are listed and extra leaves are alphabetized by the tree name.  A white sheet of paper should separate the required from the extra leaves.

1. Use small pieces of scotch tape to mount leaves

2. Use only pencil, no ink or marker

3. Always print, never write

4. Name in the upper right corner followed by the period number and date

Due Date: Collections are due for grading one week before Spring Break.  Each day late lowers the grade by one letter grade.
