Media Center Computer Lab Guidelines for Class Visits |

When signing up, please tell Mrs. Gibbs which resources are needed:
- Computers (how many?), printing, SmartBoard?
- If I can collaborate, please give brief description of project/copy of assignment sheet
- Can our online resources help?
- Books (Topic? For cart of books on a topic, 3-5 days notice is preferable)
- Interlibrary loan resources (ten days to two weeks notice is preferable)
- Research mini-lesson
- Collaborative planning for research activity
- Teachers supervise their classes in the Media Center Computer lab. LAN School is available for supervision and instruction.
- Students are to be seated at tables or computers (unless you give an individual permission to browse the shelves). Computer seating chart is available at circulation desk.
- Sound level is to be a quiet study environment.
- Computers are for academic use only. No internet game sites or non-academic video browsing.
- No food or drinks. Please pick up paper and push in chairs.

Students MAY be present from study hall or other classes. Media Center staff supervises students who are not in your class, and I require that their voices are not audible from the next table. |
